Makes its first appearance in San Francisco since I had it roughly chained to a meter. I will be driving this taco bike up and down 18th street, serving fish, yam, and seitan tacos.
The bike was imagined and envisioned as a means to meet and introduce our food to neighbors. The schedule will be posted via Twitter you can follow here.
The Bike was crafted and created by artist/Engineer Todd Barricklow, we met and befriended for the love of bikes during the 2nd annual Hand Car Regatta last year.

I know it has been a while, but I wanted to invite all of you to the 3rd anniversary celebration of my little restaurant in the mission. I would like you and your family, friends, date, whatever (by yo self) to stop by on Sunday November 1st and have a quick drink, meal, anything. Just want to connect and enjoy as much time as you have. I will have a few tables set up to come in and drink and or eat with me that evening. You are all special people, and it would be great to see everyone.
So bring the noise, Romanowski will be spinning his usual rare groves, and we may possibly break up the place(dancing) after the kitchen closes at 10pm.
Thank you for being in my life.
TIME: Sunday November 1st anytime after 5pm-???
Place: Weird Fish of course 2193 Mission @ 18th
Attire: something FUN, I know Halloween is the day before, but I am sure you have something in your closet!
Menu: whatever you want, we will be having food available all night long. We are planning to make custom wine bottles for the evening to take home or drink. It will be 08′ Pinot Noir from roshambo with a homemade label from Vince Rodriguez. Limited supply so come and scoop up your bottle.
Hope to see you there!

After an adventurous and promising weekend only great memories remain! Here is a summarized update of the cool stuff that I did not miss.
I could have never missed the performance of my very good friend Mira Cook at Adobe Books a performance that in my limited music vocabulary as a reviewer, it was a deep, refreshing and inspiring experience with a naughty sense in the lyrics perfect for a Friday evening that reached the 90 Fahrenheit…
While at Weird Fish on Saturday night I’ve discover some guerrilla styled fashion the influence took effect in a very cool and quick way… some resemblance?

I was excited about going to the First Annual Block Party & Fashion Show while in the neighborhood and after a delicious breakfast it was the right thing to do to get ready and party on a sunny Sunday afternoon. check Shaggy’s (Timothy) Update for more details of the event.
Feel free to comment and share your experiences or inputs with us at the Weird Chronicles.
Ciao,
I was blessed with a three week vacation/research/development in the wonderful country of Italy. This trip has changed my views on simple foods, Italian wines and Italian woman. I had a lot of luck finding great food and wine, not much luck with Italian woman. My focus on this trip was to try and see how a wine-bar/cafe’ could make really fresh, simple food but not just be another cafe’. A challenge indeed considering I do not have a full kitchen. In Italy I was able to taste fresh, local foods, simply prepared foods. Most of the wines I tasted were very balanced, and very affordable. It was a trip of a lifetime, and I am hoping to get feedback on some of your favorite anti-pastas, wines, and simple snacks you enjoyed while in Italy. Thanks for stopping by,

Ciao
Timo Nero
